Other points of interest:

* Coach O called out Shula's offense as predictable.
* Marc "The Signal-Callin' Sideline Pimp from Cali" Guillon quit the team.
* Alabama will don houndstooth-trimmed jerseys.

All three of those matters share the attribute of being tacky yet meaningless.
